To maximize instruction time and opportunities for learning, Farmington Municipal Schools has made several changes to inclement weather procedures for the 2021/2022 school year.
• In the event school buildings are closed due to snow or other inclement weather, staff and students will shift to Remote Learning for the day, beginning at their regularly scheduled time.
• There can be 2-hour delays during the 2021/2022 school year. If buses cannot run at their normal times, they will pick students up 2 hours later than normal. Schools will open 2 hours later and run an abbreviated class schedule.
• There will be no 2-hour delays on Mondays. In the event of inclement weather, students will be remote learning from home, beginning at normally scheduled start time.
Every day of learning makes an impact on a student’s education, especially this year. Families should consider these school days, where attendance will be taken and classwork will be assigned and due by teachers as normal.
